Course

Course Introduction & Expected Outcomes

This course explores comedy as a human skill for adaptation, regulation, and meaning-making rather than a set of formulas to memorize. Participants will learn how humour, story, and embodied timing can increase psychological flexibility, support nervous-system regulation, and create safer ways to approach difficult material.

By the end of the course, participants can expect greater ease working with uncertainty, improved awareness of their own emotional and creative responses, and a broader toolkit for using humour to connect, reflect, and respond—without pressure to perform, fix, or be “funny on demand.”
